Mr. Michael Jacobs
Michael Jacobs has been passionate about computers and security ever since he received his first computer at the age of 8 years old, on which he learned BASIC programming. He began his professional Information Security career in 2003, and specialized in Industrial Control Systems security, having graduated with his Bachelor’s degree from the University of Washington. Since beginning his current role, Michael has focused on developing and guiding the implementation of the company's Industrial Control Systems (ICS) and Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) security architecture program. During his previous role as a senior security consultant, Michael developed innovative and practical solutions to address his clients’ complex cyber security and regulatory compliance challenges throughout the North American electricity sector. Michael currently holds industry certifications, including the CISSP, CISM, GDSA and ISA 62443 Cybersecurity Expert and was recognized for his contribution to the development of the first ICS security regulatory standard in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
